I’m now serving in my proud nation’s Armed Forces under the National Service(NS) Act. The first part of my obligations to the nation will end in mid december 2009 aka ORD.

Now I’m in the Air Force as part of my National Service, so I have more time on my hand, yes!

Singapore Polytechnic Years (2005~2008)

Before that thou, I’m a student from Singapore’s 1st Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic’s (SP), School of Electrical Electronic Engineering (EEE) under the previous Diploma of Electronics Communication and Computer Engineerin(DECC).

My grades are not considered to be good… it can even be considered below average. But who cares?

SP LifeArts

During my polytechnic years, I am part of the club named SP LifeArts.

- What is SP LifeArts?

SP LifeArts is a club that is what it’s members are, giving it’s members a platform to try out things under the name of arts.

We are also into Manga, Animations and Modelling(plastic/resin). If you have watched/readed Genshiken(Anime/Manga), then you will find us very similar to them.

While I’m still in polytechnic, I have served SP LifeArts as their PR Coordinator(2006/07) and President(2007/08).

While I’m the President, I’m not ready good at drawing. I was selected I think partially because of my commitment, ability to do Administration and lead.

During my stint as the PR Coordinator, then president. I have met with many people related to the Media/Animation industry, and had fun, a lot of it.

I sometimes do regret, not taking the advantage to learn more and get to know more people.

My Career objective is to work happy. Not by changing jobs but by adapting to the situation and excelling. I hope to achieve a successful, fulfilling and happy career.

Other Skills

I am capable when in regards of computer and basic event logistics/planing.
Also I am capable of handling paper work due to the practice and training gotten from my position as the President of SP LifeArts club, and before that the Membership Secretary and PR coordinator.

During my National Service, I have also experienced proper human management and is more adapted at planing resources while working to overcome certain circumstances.

Also, I have some experience in web design using Content Management Software, word-press and basic SEO. In additional, I am also able to use graphic processor like Photoshop and Fireworks for simple Graphic design. Same for Video editing using Adobe Premier.

In fact, I am also an avid blogger and a okay administrator, with my own site, http://tueac.com, along with a hobby site, http://Ani-culture.net, founded together with my friends. I practice my writing on these platforms and have gathered a smaller readership.

Amateur Photography is my hobby, although I would like to improve on it in the future. It is also one of the items I write about in my blog.

I’m currently taking also basic Japanese classes with the goal of being proficiently in the language.

As a Sales Assistant under the General Merchandise Specialist department, i am to assist the customer in regards of advising and answering according to the customer’s needs and question. In additional I am also in charge of informing the customer of ongoing promotions and offers along with the restocking of merchandises.

Working as a general worker for the Changi Airport project to laid cables and the installation of the panel boxes.

Also involved in the testing and updating of the Tibs Anti Terror system project.

My contract got terminated early as the Company was hit by the recession and my enlistment is nearing.

Republic of Singapore Air Force

NSF – AIRFORCE Tech, EA Trade, Specialist Jun 2009 – Dec 2010
I hold the rank of a 3rd Sergent in my NSF.

My job is to assist the Qualified Senior Technicians(QST) in their daily jobs from filling in paper work for the Job to physically demanding jobs like moving and transferring of bombs and Missiles. On a few situation, I also advise the OST in the planning of manpower.

Similarly, I also took on miscellaneous jobs like taking phone calls, tools store duty, salvage duties and etc. My eagerness to learn also allowed me to get a class 4T Tractor license which my predecessor didn’t get.

So, I am used to the stress and last minute assignments passed down by the flying Squadrons. With us being needed to find a solution so as to achieve a 100% mission success rate.

Occasionally, I am also required to work alone or lead a group of people to complete mission critical task like the refilling of certain countermeasures or supervision of contractors within the base.
